Casa Malaparte

Casa Malaparte, dramatically perched on a cliff in Capri, was conceived by writer and artist Curzio Malaparte after purchasing the land in 1937, following his exile.

Malaparte also designed the original furniture for the house. AF Editions partnered with Malaparte Design to create an edition of its three most recognizable pieces: a table, a bench and a console.

The legacy of local craftsmanship that Malaparte initiated was maintained by working with carpenters from Capri.

The collection has since been exhibited in NY, London, and Miami, culminating in a Paris show at Gagosian Gallery alongside Henry Moore sculptures.
